Wild spring
When I first got him, one companion wanted him to live on the fireplace mantel. She had unusual tastes. I have to admit, I don’t keep the overtly sexual statuary in the “public rooms” of the house. Bachelor or not, it just raises too many questions when company calls.
I posted him because it’s spring and the juices are flowing. I’ve gotten my garden cleared and I’m looking forward to planting in a couple of weeks.
I don’t think pagans are quite so “in your face” with the sex now. More’s the pity I suppose, Humans are sexual after all, and it seems a shame to pretend that we’re not. Americans are a very odd culture these days. We’re more and more open about both our nudity and sex, as long as it’s not in public (PROTECT THE CHILDREN!!). Still, nudity is not sex and sex is not nudity.
It’s not that pagans are more sexual, it’s that we don’t deny it as much. Except when we want to keep the peace with our neighbors.
And then we find the secret places to dance nekkid.
