There’s a saying that faith is what happens between you and the Divine and religion is what happens between you and the priests.
I believe that most if not all of religion is the construct of humans for political purposes.
I think it’s because the priests and the kings and the emperors and the dictators want to control people.
I know it’s cynical. I wish I was wrong.
But I am not.
I think too many people are into religion for the politics.
Ideally your faith should manifest through you and the people you touch.
The Divine is there. It doesn’t need worshipers. It doesn’t need temples. It doesn’t need holy books. It doesn’t even need a Name.
That’s what humans need.
Short one today. But there isn’t much else to say.
