The sexual metaphor as an alternative take on Systematically got me to thinking. That and the pleasant determined distraction that took my attention the last couple of days.

I'm a sensualist. Some have called me a libertine. I've been thinking about just how much that shapes my thoughts.

When push comes to shove and I am explaining something a little offbeat about magick, I go for the sexual metaphor. It's not the first time I've done it either. On the one hand, it does tend to get people's attention. On the other hand, sometimes my explanations and descriptions border on soft porn.

Not all my stuff is quite so tied to the flesh, but I do lean that way, especially when I am explaining something dry.

Is it too much?

And this is where the book comes in.

I'm fairly sure that if I went that way in the book it would sell better.

And looking over my notes, there's a lot of it there.

But honestly I am not sure. Or maybe I just don't trust my judgement on this particular topic.

Would the sensualist approach work better?
