The Pope and his Pagan Christians
Oh my.
Lookee here. The Pope is picking on Pagans again.
Oh whatever will we do?
However will we survive?
All kidding aside, Pope Francis isn’t using the word “Pagan” in the same sense that neopagans use the word “Pagan.” He’s trying to clean up his own house.
More importantly, the Pope does not speak for my gods. He has nothing to do with me or my path. I’m not seeking his approval and I won’t play the word games so Paganism can “establish” it’s legitimacy in the “Christian” world.
I don’t have to be accepted by Christians, be they Catholic or Unitarian or Gnostic. My faith is between me and the Divine. If the People of the Cross have issues with my path, that is their problem not mine.
Until and unless they want control of my path. Then we have a problem.
And then I won’t play nice.
