Dusting of Snow
It’s a very light dusting. It will probably be gone by noon or so.
Still, it’s the first snow of the season here. Winter-born that I am, I always like a desert snowfall.
I was born on the Navajo reservation in Ganado because Chinle didn’t have a hospital worth speaking of then.
Yes, I’m one of the few bilagáana born on the Res, it’s shaped my outlook. I’m what happens when Lousianna farming stock takes root in the Four Corners region. The desert and the the sky here call to me. I’m a child of sand and wind.
So yeah, I’m into a desert snowfall. I find it magickal.
