Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Do you believe

A musical interlude because I have a song that won't get out of my head

I believe in music. Especially this time of year.

Do you believe, you believe in magic, 'cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine thru

Do you believe, you believe in magic, 'cos I believe, I believe that I do
Yes, I can see, I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic, your love will shine true

If there's one thing that the world needs, it's a magic singing song
And I'll teach it to the whole world and make them sing along
Love is magic, it's so easy, and it's not hard to do
'Cos everybody, wants somebody, to give a little magic to

Theme From Mission Magic by Rick Springfield

Part of my misspent Saturday mornings as a kid. And now I have a Rick Springfield song living in my head. Catchy thing, and it always seems to fit spring around the solstice. The song is much better than the cartoon ever was.

I'm not always in tune, but I can be enthusiastic!

Today I have bright sunshine. A couple of days ago I had freezing rain. Spring promises fun this year.

Okay, looks like the system upgrade lost my equalizer presets in iTunes. Let's try that again. Setting EQ to "perfect." Let's put MaKai through his paces.

I'm probably going to have to do that to every song.

My stepdad loved classical music. Stepbro and stepsis had rock and roll. The Arizona contingent of Mom's family did country and western, from the Grand Ole Opry on. And all though it's not supposed to be a straight guy thing, I really like musicals.

Oh shoot, Loke E. Coyote lost it's presets too. It's sounds muddled.

One of the best songs I've ever found to adjust your equalizer settings is the "Prelude And Main Title March" from Superman - The Movie. Hard to beat the frequency and dynamic range of that song. "Daddy Sang Bass" from Johnny Cash and Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl" together do pretty well to tweak vocals. "Blue in Green" from Miles Davis gives the midrange a run for it's money. "Crow River Waltz" from Leo Kottke let's you test the quiet moments. Finally there is "The Grand Illusion" from Styx and "We Are the Champions" from Queen to pull it all together.

Music is a gift from the gods, no question.

So with that, I think I will sing along some more.

Enjoy your Tuesday.
