A brief update
There's an essay called You Are Not Alone by Bill Whittle. It's absolutely one of the best modern liberty essays I've read. Since it's no longer online, I posted the essay at Pagan Vigil without permission. That's not a decision I make lightly, but I think it's a vitally important essay and people need to read for themselves. You should too, by the way. It talks about the Old Breed in a way I've not been able to match.
And I'm tiptoeing around the big subject.
Gavin Frost passed on Sunday.
The Frosts are controversial for many reasons. They were openly and publicly pagan in a time when that was too much for the American public. They managed to get the IRS to recognize the Church of Wicca. And some of their teaching methods were questionable.
Specifically they described sexually initiating the "Wicca Child" in The Witch's Bible.
Which means I cannot talk about them without talking about a subject that I have been avoiding for years.
This is the post where I talk about the Frosts.
The next one is where I go into taboo territory.
