Corny AmericanaThe Pagan Conspiracy to take over the
country doesn't have anything to do with Mitchell, South
Dakota.
Yet. If I could have found a picture that would have worked, the Corn Palace would have been behind my banner this time around. I've never actually been to the Corn Palace, but I have heard about it for years. It's one of those amazing pieces of corny (pun intended) pieces of Americana. Every year, the Corn Palace has new murals on it's walls, all made out of corn. So of course, I overheard someone proclaiming that this could only happen because those Pagans were taking over America. Many Pagans, myself included, follow the seasons. August happens to be one of the first harvest times in the U.S., just as it was in Europe. This isn't a sign of the Pagan conspiracy, it's just harvesting. Unless you want to divorce yourself totally from the planet, farmers have to pay attention to those natural cycles. Or else there are going to be a lot of hungry people. Me, I think I want to see the Corn Palace. Looks like fun.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
