Rabble rousersMy rant at Wren's Nest stirred some things
up
In case you didn't know by now, I was talking
about Ed Hubbard in this post. Yes, the Witch School
guy.
I've no desire to start a flame war. But I do have problems with people pointing out a problem and then conveniently selling a solution. I have problems with Oberon Zell-Ravenhart's Grey Council and school as well, for pretty much the same reason. While I do think that there needs to be some sort of standard in the Pagan community so there are actually teachers and clergy worth the name, I'm not convinced that we've seen good solutions yet. I am encouraged by what I see at Cherry Hill Seminary, and when I get time I would like to take some classes there myself. Anyway, I'm very dubious of anyone selling doom for profit. Judging from the posts at Wren's Nest, I'm not the only one. Juliaki did a piece at her blog about the same subject.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
