A trick of the lightAnother reluctant acknowledgment of my
geek traits
Umm, okay.
I'm going to acknowledge my geekness here. My sanctum is a small room where I do most of my thinking. It's part of a converted garage. There's a altar on on wall up against the chimney, next to that is a drawing table. One long wall has two file cabinets and a workbench with shelves on top. The other long wall has a large desk with a hutch on top. There's a solar tube that lights it during the day. At night there are various lights. But the amazingly cool geeky bit is when I'm not there and MaKai is asleep. Then you just see the pulsating LED on MaKai, the flickering LEDs on the hard drives, and one super amazing effect. My PowerMate knob pulsates and the lucite piece that covers my desk acts as a light pipe, so the edges of my desk pulsate with blue light. And I just ordered something to make it more geeky. A Moon Jar. It's a Mason jar with a battery, solar cell, and LEDs that glow blue at night. It's going to live at the top of my desk hutch between a bear statue and my Wild Man. Sometimes I am too geeky for my own good. Every Technopagan needs a cave.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
