I can't believe I forgot the salsa!Think before you do
There are these crispito things that aren't
available in my area, so I usually preorder them, pick them up on one of my
trips out of town, and stuff them in my freezer. Granted, they aren't the best
healthwise for me, but I like them. What really makes them stand out above the
usual convenience food is a generous dollop of medium
salsa.
I use salsa on other things too. It makes a pretty good seafood sauce. Practically anything I wrap with a tortilla. And it's a decent steak sauce if I char grill. Why yes, I am a carnivore. Why do you ask? *grin* Usually when I buy condiments and other consumables with a decent shelf-life, I make sure I have one open to use and one in the pantry ready to go. When I can, I put the "reserve" one upside down so I don't have more than one open at a time. For my last three regular shopping trips, I keep forgetting to pick up the salsa. Part of it is that I haven't found an iPad task application I like yet. I got out of the habit of doing written shopping years ago, I just called up a saved task with my standard shopping list, made changes, and was good to go. When I am not obsessing about details, I can be very sloppy. That's not a good thing when it can bite you back Like in magick. Some stuff I throw together fairly quickly as needed. Some stuff I plan out in detail months in advance. But even with the quick stuff, I know where to find what I want and what I need. There's a difference between sun-blessed and moon-blessed salt and both take time to prepare. Copper filings and iron filings both have electrical properties, but copper isn't magnetic and iron can offend certain entities. And yes, I COULD do all the spell design and visualization in my head, but then I COULD design a car in my head too. Well, maybe not me. But it is theoretically possible. Until then, lists and planning and double checking are your friends. Your very best friends at that. My magick consumables and tools are organized a lot like my pantry. I try to use one and keep one in reserve. It's too late to remember the salsa when you're already cooking.
