On thumbprints & sealing wax
Hot wax is still hot. That is what the spit is for.
Spit on your thumb, smear it around with your finger, then press your thumb into the wax to make a seal.
And remember, use sealing wax. Beeswax is great for candles, but burns much hotter. You don't know what's in commercial candle wax.
