Short change - UpdatedA fill in
Obviously the thing I was going to write today
isn't coming out of my head. So it's time to find an
alternative.
And I am coming up blank. I tinker a lot with magick. I try this or that if it seems like a good idea. I improvise, I play around so when I don't have time, I've got an idea of what might work. Let me tell you about an experiment I tried a while back. I really liked the look of the Sacagawea golden dollar coin. Aha, I told myself. Therein lies possibilities. It was distinctive. It showed a True Lady (ALWAYS a plus). And people would remember it. So I thought that it would do great to maintain a link. Sort of like the magickal equivalent of a domain name. I got a roll of uncirculated coins (no trivial matter for someone living in the boondocks) and some small parchment coin envelopes. The idea was simple. If someone needed it, I'd sell them a coin. I'd write their name and the date on the envelope. They'd blow on the coin, put a little dab of spit on it, and seal it in the envelope. I had done similar things with silver half dollars (pre-1970) and it worked fairly well. But these didn't work. The base metal in the coin didn't hold the connection for more than a day or so. Frustrating, but certainly a learning experience.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
