Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Those who walk between the worlds

A clarification.

Back in the 1970s and 1980s there were a couple of traditions that called practitioners "those who walk between the worlds." Some of that may have gone back further. A couple of my teachers were from these trads and I appropriated the phrase. To my knowledge, there was no sexuality or gender preference attached to the phrase.

We're The Ones Who Walk Between The Worlds

We're The Ones Who Walk Between The Worlds, yes, but I don't see that as a "violent assault" on social norms. I see it as bringing pieces of one world into another. Magick is the essence of change and evolution. If someone has a problem with what I am, well, “What I do is not up to you.” Unless they do something more than spout words, I don't care.

Journey

The Journey is SUPPOSED to drag you out of your comfort zone and your expectations and your perceptions and understandings. You can't walk between the worlds if you have both feet and nine fingers firmly anchored in one. The Story is told while the Journey is lived.

We walk between the worlds

Making those connections in the world takes work. Remember we walk between the worlds. It’s not enough to touch the Divine. We have to come off the mountain top and share what we’ve found. We have to step out of the ritual circle.

Blessed

But we are the Blessed, the God-touched, the ones who walk between the worlds. I honor my Gods as Elder Relatives, not as saviors or rulers of my soul. It's the difference between fear and love.
