Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Not even the same subject

In my experience, Western and Eastern philosophy are not in conflict. They aren't even the same SUBJECT.

Western philosophy is about the mechanics of how one ought act in the universe and assumes that people already have an understanding of who they are and what they want. Western philosophy concerns itself with the subject of knowledge, of "What?" and "How?"

Eastern philosophy is about studying meaning, self, and all the things that are subjective to the individual. Eastern philosophy is the study of "Why?" and "Who?"

They are different questions, and these discussions are largely agnostic to one another.

Heroes know

Heroes know that things must happen when it is time for them to happen. A quest may not simply be abandoned; unicorns may go unrescued for a long time, but not forever; a happy ending cannot come in the middle of the story.
