Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Thinking by blogging
Note the unusual. It's one of my calendar rules. If something happens every day, it's not worth recording.

It's snowing right now.

It's only the second time this year. My high desert didn't get any snow during the winter. It got a very light snow a week or so ago. And now this spring snow is heavy enough to cover the street. Maybe a quarter of an inch. By the looks of it, there was a coyote checking things out earlier. No other signs on the street, there's been no traffic yet. I've been watching for a couple of hours. Well, I did take a shower in there somewhere.

I doubt my raven friend will be over for blueberries. I'm going to stay inside for breakfast. I'm thinking chicken quesadilla. I finally found some of the really good grapefruit juice, so I can do the citrus mix. One part ruby red grapefruit juice, one part good orange juice. And I don't believe in small juice glasses, I use a regular water glass.

Anyway, back to the snow. The first edges of dawn are beginning to touch the sky and the snow is shining bright.

I really like the snow.

I grew up in the desert. Phoenix from two to ten, my high desert after. Snow is rare in my high desert, unheard of in Phoenix. When I was a kid, the family would go to Flagstaff or the North Rim for a snow day. Playing with my stepsibs, the was fun. They're older than I, but the snow made it all fun. Sometimes we'd go back to Arkansas for Christmas, there was usually snow there. So yes, I really like the snow.

I think this needs hot chocolate.

May your day be blessed.

When pagans jump up to recite approved scripts to this week's Officially Designated Outrage, they make paganism look silly.

Yes, sometimes you can taste the Moonlight in the predawn. It's full of promise and hope and wonder, with the ever so slight tartness of regret.
