Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Those Who Want To Be Noticed

I think the real issue is Those Who Want To Be Noticed. That's probably an oversimplification, but at this point I am going to accept it as a working assumption.

It's not that they believe, it's that they need the perception of others to validate their belief. I've talked about that need for validation before too.

❝Do not believe…❞

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe simply because it has been handed down for many generations. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is written in Holy Scriptures. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of Teachers, elders or wise men. Believe only after careful observation and analysis, when you find that it agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all. Then accept it and live up to it.

I don’t believe in objectivity, but I do believe deeply in fairness.

The patterns we see in the universe may be nothing more than longing and human conceit. But if using those patterns gives us a desired result, then the patterns are a useful fiction. The "ultimate reality" doesn't necessarily matter or even our belief doesn't matter, if we behave as if we believe and successfully reach our goals.

❝You have to believe in dreams…❞

You have to believe in dreams, because sometimes they believe in you.
