Snow Day

Yes, I’m a winter born. So I have this thing for snow anyway.
I was born in this high desert. I spent my teen years and most of my adult years here too. But my childhood was in Phoenix. It snows sometimes in the high desert.
It doesn’t snow in Phoenix.
So yes, it has been snowing yesterday and today. There’s probably about two inches out there now. I know, not a proper snow for anyone who grows up in snow country.
But it’s plenty for me. I’m happy. I’m going to finish my hot chocolate and go throw a few snowballs.
