Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

Keeping notes

I first started keeping notes in a three ring binder. It worked, sort of, as long as I kept the index up to date.

On computers I used a word processor. Again I had to keep the index up to date, and I lost the ability to put things like loose newspaper and magazine clippings in nice neat files.

For a while I was using Palm notes, which had a character limit. That taught me brevity, but in some cases led to lists of notes.

By far the best I’ve tried is
Evernote.

I’ve one notebooks for rituals. Another notebook for experiments. Still one more for The Quote File, or at least the NeoWayland version. I’ve another called The Lore for interesting articles and things I want to think about. One each for the two books I’m working on. One that tracks my statuary. Another for my crux ideas. Another still on Ethics & Morality.

I use tags.

It works amazingly well. I have the artwork I want to keep. I have the photos I need.

About the only thing the notebooks don’t do is give me posts for this blog.

Unless I raid the quote file.
