Occasionally I wandered in where I was not wanted and gave truthful answers.
Sometimes I even did it deliberately. A little disruption now can prevent disaster later.

waxing crescent moon       ≠ Thanksgiving Day       Firing of the Anvil

Thinking by blogging
And here I am, before dawn on Thanksgiving.

I don't really do many holidays. It's a long story.

I will check on Mom this morning. She'll do Thanksgiving with some friends this afternoon.

Slowly and surely I've been updating this site. And then Pagan Vigil when I need a break. I have a "standard" look, but I forgot how much I like to throw in italics and bold. I suppose that should be emphasis and strong, although those codes don't always play nice together. Add the broken links that either need to be replaced or have a line put through them and things get fun. Basically I'm hand-coding a lot of stuff that RapidWeaver let me do on the fly, but that doesn't give me as much overall control. Then there's the redirect pages at the old page addresses. Some of them didn't work because of permissions.

And I am adjusting to a mostly empty house. I find myself cleaning and then thinking "why bother?" The discipline is good for me I suppose. But not easy.

This Thanksgiving, be thankful for what you have.

Big bright blessings, everyone.
