DigViolated
Well, I'm a bit furious right
now.
They are laying new water and sewer lines. It needed to happen. But now the hard water and the recent fluctuating water pressure is screwing up my hot water tank, which I half expected anyway. I've already talked to a local plumber about replacing it with an on-demand, tankless electrical system after they finish. I can live with the messed up hot water for a bit. I can live with the streets torn up. I can live (mostly) with the dust. And the sand storms. But today they ripped up my back yard and my outdoor ritual area. My formerly very private back yard. Which no longer has a complete fence, but does have several trenches now. Grumpy doesn't begin to cover it. Moderately enraged is closer to the mark. Granted, when they began this thing, they did say that they might need to dig. I'm going to calm down now. Maybe put some Sharon Knight on iTunes.

Pagan philosopher, libertarian, and part-time trouble maker, NeoWayland looks at keeping truths alive despite a wash of nonsense. But don't be surprised when he's doing the "nekkid Pagan guy" thing.
